Lesflux Ltd.

Your privacy really matters to us and so we want to set out how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information in a transparent and easy-to-understand way. As it’s a privacy policy, there will be some legal and technical jargon, but let us know if you need some clarification or if you have any questions, feel free to email us at admin@lesflux.com

Collection and use of personal information

Personal information is the data that can be used to identify or contact an individual. Lesflux Ltd – and our affiliates – might share personal information with one other to carry out business and legal obligations (including product shipping and warranty eligibility). Any use is consistent and in line with this Privacy Policy as well as UK and EU law. You are not obliged to provide the personal information that we have requested. However, if you chose not to do so, we will not be able to provide you with our products, services or respond to your queries.

Here are some examples of the types of personal information we may collect and how we may use it:

What personal information does Lesflux collect?

When you place an order for a product from our website, or affiliated online retailer, we will process information, including your shipping address, a billing address, your name and your email address. When you sign up to our mailing list, we will collect similar information so that we can share relevant details of offers, competitions, and product and brand news that you might find interesting.

What if I don't provide the necessary personal information?

We will request this information from you and, if you don’t provide the information that we need, we may not be able to honour the contract we have entered into with you (product shipment or service provider). Failure to provide the necessary personal information may prevent us from complying with our legal obligations.

How do we use your personal information?

The vast majority of the personal information we collect allows us to deliver your product to you and ensure that if any issues arise we can solve them with you, your courier, or within Lesflux. As our cases come with a lifetime warranty, we also store some personal data to be able to verify that you have purchased one of our cases and are eligible for the warranty.

We will also use personal data to keep you posted on Lesflux’ latest product announcements, company updates, upcoming events, or ask for ratings and reviews. You can opt in to our mailing list by clicking the relevant tick-box at checkout. If you opt in and then change your mind, you can opt out at any time by emailing us at admin@lesflux.com or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all of our emails.

From time to time, we may use your personal information to send important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our products, terms, conditions, and policies. Because this information is important to your interaction with Lesflux, you cannot opt out of receiving these communications. If you have particular concerns about this, please contact admin@lesflux.com and someone on our team will be happy to help.

We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing our processes, fixing problems that customers experience, data analysis, and research to improve our products, services, and customer service. However, we always make sure that the amount of personal data used is the absolute minimum required to do the job.

If you enter into a sweepstake, contest, or similar promotion we may use the information you provide to administer those programs.

Collection and use of non-personal information

We also collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose. The following are some examples of non-personal information that we collect and how we may use it:

We may collect information such as language, unique device identifier, referrer URL, location, and the time zone where the order was placed so that we can better understand customer behaviour and improve our products, services, and advertising.

We may collect anonymous data regarding customer activities on our website. This data cannot be traced back to any individual and is aggregated and used to help us provide more useful information to our customers and to understand which parts of our website, products, and services are of most interest, or what our customer demographics are. Aggregated data is considered non-personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and other technologies

Our website, online services, email messages, and advertisements may use "cookies" and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons. These technologies help us better understand how people use our website, what they need help with, tell us which parts of our websites people have visited, and facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small files of text which are sent by websites and stored on a user’s computer, phone or tablet. They contain a code which identifies the user and their purpose is to help keep track of the user’s activity on the website. Different types of cookie are used for different reasons.

What kind of cookies are in use on our website?

Session cookies

These are temporary cookies which will be deleted when you close your web browser. They are there to keep track of everything that you have added to your cart – if we didn’t use these cookies then your cart would empty every time you clicked on a new link.

Marketing cookies

These types of cookies are used so that you are shown more relevant and interesting ads on websites such as Facebook and Instagram. We do limit the period that you see these ads so that you don’t get spammed by us.
We also use marketing cookies to measure the effectiveness of our online marketing efforts.

Statistical cookies

We use these third-party cookies to monitor how you use our website so that we can optimise our site and give you a better browsing and shopping experience in the future.

By using our website, you consent to these cookies being placed on your device for the reasons described above.

It is possible to clear cookies from your computer or phone and to change your web browser settings to reject or accept any new cookies from being stored. The way that this is done will differ between browsers – please refer to the help section of your browser for guidance.

If you do decide to reject web cookies then please be aware that our website will not be fully functional as the items in your cart will not be retained as you go through the checkout process.

Disclosure to third parties
In order for us to process your payment and ship your order, we have to share some personal information with third parties, such as your local courier service. Personal data is governed by Lesflux’ and any given third party’s privacy policy. Personal information will only be shared by us to provide our products and services or solicit your feedback; we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Service providers

Lesflux shares personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, payment processing, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products to you, managing and enhancing customer data, and providing customer service. These companies are obligated to protect your information to the same standard Lesflux does.

Others

It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence − for Lesflux to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.

We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

How do we protect your personal information?

Lesflux takes the security of your personal information seriously. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for encrypting data in transit. At rest (i.e. when not transferring it), we encrypt your data. When your personal data is stored by us, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures. Online data is stored in encrypted form including when we utilize third-party storage.

When posting about Lesflux in a chat room or social networking service, the personal information and content you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to share or submit in these instances. For example, if you list your name and email address in a Facebook or Twitter posting, that information is public.

How long do we keep your personal information?

Lesflux will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Your rights to your data
You have a right to have any personal information we hold on you corrected if it is inaccurate. If we have made a mistake and hold data that we have no legal or commercial obligation to hold, you can also request its deletion.

To these ends, we will provide you a list of your personal data we hold, and for what purposes we hold it. We may decline to process requests that are clearly frivolous (i.e. they are non-specific or not related to data protection), jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by law. Access, correction, or deletion requests can be made through emailing us at admin@lesflux.com
Right to withdraw consent

In the limited circumstances where you may have provided your consent to the collection, processing and transfer of your personal information for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact our Data Protection Designate by emailing admin@lesflux.com with ‘Data Protection’ in the subject line. Where we are providing you with marketing information, you can also change your marketing preferences by using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our marketing emails to you. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your information for the purpose or purposes you originally agreed to, unless we have another legitimate basis for doing so.

Third-party sites and services

Lesflux’ website and services may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. Information collected by third parties, which may include such things as location data or contact details, is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.

Our company wide commitment to your privacy

To make sure your personal information is secure, we communicate our privacy and security guidelines to all relevant Lesflux employees and strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the company.

Privacy questions

If you have any questions or concerns about Lesflux’ Privacy Policy or data processing or if you would like to make a complaint about a possible breach of local privacy laws, please contact us.

When a privacy question or access/download request is received we have a team which triages the contacts and seeks to address the specific concern or query which you are seeking to raise. Where your issue may be more substantive in nature, more information may be sought from you. All such substantive contacts receive a response. If you are unsatisfied with the reply received, you may refer your complaint to the relevant regulator in your jurisdiction. If you ask us, we will endeavour to provide you with information about relevant complaint avenues which may be applicable to your circumstances.

Changes to this privacy notice

Lesflux may change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time, and any changes will become effective immediately. Any changes we make to our privacy policy will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you.
